Call me crazy but, im actually thinking of installing the CI radar receiver above my RVM and attaching the display and buttons to it.

The inside of the mirror is really cool! I am interested in it. I really don't want to get pulled over and the po po see the radar detector. I think that is an instant ticket. Anyone disagree with this?

If you where to get the visor pouch, I think mounting the display and control panel would look pretty neat on the radar receiver.

Another advantage to that install would be, you could take some black leather, or a piece of cloth like you clean your sunglasses. Tuck it under the visor pouch and if you did get pulled over just flip the cloth down and you have a 100% stealth install.

It's being introduced by John Turner. Do a google search for his radar detector company and you should be able to find it. I believe you have to call them though, as they did a limited run to start it out.

But it was made to fit the CI & STi-R antennas.

Radar detector visor holder. Visor holder to hide car radar detector.

As for the cloth idea, you put the antenna up in that pocket no one will have an idea of what it is.

That would defeat the purpose of the unit. Just put the antenna up there and have the display and control box in the dash area.

yeah the visor pouch is similar to that one, only it's special in that it accommodates the larger antenna for the ci & sti-r.

Nice! What camera did you use and how did you publish those? The pics are so clear.
