The problem is different scenarios create different results and most lockouts with more than 1 signal are almost always 1/2mi. The "tricks" not "tips" are just that and can vary as stated in the sticky.

The reply i made to Jazzy was to confirm he was correct with his information, just incorrect that it did it after the initial lock out.
when you use expert mode and watch the amount of signals you're receiving during locking out (confirming its ONLY 1), as well as checking it with spec mode for frequency, then lock it out as close to the false as you can get with the smallest hint of alert, then shut the unit down to prevent it from continuing the lockout - and not starting it up until you're over a mile from the original lockout point.........you can be sure you did everything in your power to cut down on the lockout radius. And as I said...I did this with ALL my lockouts...and still saw LEO lockouts 1/2 mile from the falses. How much more in depth do you have to get to use this supposed "Intelligent Feature" that still locks out LEO's?

So to reconfirm my statement....IT DOESNT DO A VERY GOOD JOB OF USING THE SIGNAL STRENGTH INFORMATION IT "RECORDS" AT THE TIME OF LOCKOUT.

    i.e. - "useless"

Ramp up on the V1 is so accurate that I ALWAYS know when its a false of K band, and when its a threat. And there's NEVER a chance its "blocked" so I'm ignorant to it..like with the "intelligent" detector that uses TRUECROCK.

kind of off topic, but I have a question for RadarKid.
How did you get a blue bogey counter?!? The readout looks like the same kind found on some high-end computer motherboards. Where can you find them in blue?
V1 in blue looks hawt by the way!

that's not the question... or the point... or the explanation, not that it has anything to do with what we are talking about.

the question was if it did this when encountering a signal after the lock out was made, and it doesn't. only when creating a lock out.
Why do you have to always be antagonistic. obviously some other factor cam into play when you locked out. your lucky it didn't lock out a hole mile for you.

i will say it again so i am clear: The reply i made to Jazzy was to confirm he was correct with his information, just incorrect that it did it after the initial lock out.

Awe man, you're ruinin' it for me .

I wonder if you can get those readouts in other colors though. That would be an awesome mod .

It was relevant. I was pointing out that it doesnt do a good job with what it records for signal strength. And that does have to do with what Jazzy asked.
Just because I don't agree with your high opinion of TrueCrock, and point out the reasons why, it doesnt mean I'm being antagonistic.

And yes I know..as usual...something else must have been going on for me to have several problems with TrueLock locking out LEO's. It had to be ME and MY SITUATION as opposed to the feature (even though others have reported the same occurances repeatedly).

True, but you are excessively aggressive about putting down a feature that obviously works, just not how you expected it to work. And calling it TrueCrock and your sig doesn't help ether. Plus calling me out is unnecessary.

No, obviously something caused you to have several problems with TrueLock, and it wasn't you or the LEO. TrueLock works according to its environment not however it feels like. Some averments are the same same are not.

I have a video showing 1/4 mile lock outs, but i am sure the area was much different than yours.
