You know, I have not had on problem yet with the stock (bigger ones they provide) valentine suction cups. I have had them up all fall and all winter and it has gotten down to -20 here and no problems. The smaller ones did lose grip but once I put the bigger ones on I have not had any problems.

Temps here are staying above 20F now and mostly above freezing, so the problem is gone until next winter. I may go back to the velcro setup I saw posted here once. I had that for a while and it worked great. I only took it down because I had to drive through Ontario and didn't want any sign of an RD in the window.

Yep . And easy to clean off if you ever want to move the detector . Also allows to mount on the black dots some windshields have .

I purchased those cups a little over a 1 month ago cause of this thread, I have to say that I am very pleased and want to thank you for the recomondation. I have to say they are a 100 times better then the stock pair and have not failed me once.

Hi, do you have a link to the product you purchased?

    Thanks.
