    Default window tint and x50?

I have an x50. I will be getting my windows tinted 35% on my truck. I heard from somebody that the tint can affect the range and performance of the detector from all angles. Is there any truth to that or is it false? thanks

to my understanding, it is only metallic tint or tint that has metallic in it that affects radar..i have 25% on my front doors and limo on my back window and it does not affect my radar to my knowlodge. i also drive a single cab pickup, and thats alot of tint in a small area..im sure it would be safe to get regular ole tint and not have to worry. good luck.

that's great news. I thought I might have to rethink my plans to tint it.
