is 9500 RLC Database shareable???

My complementary 3 months database subscription will be end soon. I bought 9500ix and didnt get a Database subscription to go with it...

After my subscription expire,Can someone with Database subsciption,can share/Send me(via Email) Latest RLC datebase,and upload it,into my 9500ix??? is this possible?????

Im not sure and have absolutely no experience in this, but i would assume you can, i dont see them incorporating copy protection into something like that.

I would be seriously surprised if this works, and if it does, it will not work much longer.

I have noticed on bit torrent sites people sharing the Trinity database, so i am sure it is an issue now @ Escort.

Here's the deal:

When a legit user downloads the Trinity database, it (is or will be) hashed with their keycode (probably incorporated into the detector firmware). If it is distributed, it can easily be traced to the original user. Sooner (or later), it will only work on the detector with the matching keycode.

The databases everyone downloads are 100% identical, and not tied to a detector. Even the GX65 downloads are exactly the same. I and a couple of other guys on here have done some extensive hashing on the files.

That said, the subscription is cheap. Just buy one.
