We have seen with happa$$ that the V1 has more range with pop on. Does anybody think that would help the X50 or any other RD for that matter. So do you all think that Escort has perfected POP like Mike V. has.

My pop on my x50 Constantly falses. More annoying than anything. So I just turn it off.
Even Escort's own surces have said that enabling POP detection on Escort/Bel detectors prioritizes "sweep" to that sector - and thus will cause a slight lag in other areas of its sweep, which translates to potentially shortened detection distances (i.e. "worse overall" performance).
Combine this with the fact that Escort's detectors, in independent testing, have only been able to reliably pick up 63 ms. Ka-band POP - and is blind to the two others - this makes for such a scenario to be nearly futile.
Add to it the fact that older Escort detectors seem to be very, very prone to POP-falsing, and the total scenario is simply one of "fail."
If you have an Escort, just run with POP "off."
So what you are telling me that for one RD it might work and for another it won't work. You have answered my question.
