same, someone mentioned that u can get a ci without shifters, my question is where? the rep i contacted said i would have to purchase the whole set. lowest price he can give me for 9500ci was $1100, and try to sell the ZR4 heads for like $100 a piece on ebay.

sounds great lol. what do u guys think i should buy? or should i start a new thread about it? i like the gps feature from the ix but if the radar detector sucks, might as well get a different one and go with a cheetah gps thing for $100.

lol, love good old close minded Happya$$. Never can see the positive side of anything.

Talk about stale, look at the V1! lol.
Hay if I saw something negative about any decent RD i would give my positive spin on it too.

Yes. if anyone wants this IT can be done for those who look at the big picture.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, how does everyone know that the new platform is going to be M4 not M3 or something totally new. Can you just tell from the picture.

    "After much research etc..."

Who did they do this research with? The Mandrill Baboons from the San-Diego Zoo?

From the basic info we have right now (This may change): Lets create a check-list of this detector:

Likely M4 detection no one wants: Check
    No M3 Stealth: Check
    No GPS: Check
    Likely no Ka-band segmentation: Check
Ability to uprade with ZR4 Jammers that no-one wants: Check and Mate.

    ESCORT FAIL!

You know when Escort is not toting the detection or features, but rather the simplicity and budget-oriented style of it (When it still costs half a grand.) This detector is very likely to suck. As DJ said: Think of it as a X50 remote mount, and not a good S7 X50 either, but their new ones.

And what is the SR7 now... besides overpriced? (As if all Escorts products weren't at this point).
Got a great laugh out of this, thanks :-)

But sad at the same time. I *NEED* KA Segmentation, but wonder and behold, they cut the STI-R, the only one with KA Segmentation, from the lineup, and replace it with this junk.
