    Default Redline First Impressions...

Well I got my redline earlier today and so far I'm not impressed. I opened up the box and pulled out the redline, to my surprise, the paint on the redline was tacky. The paint almost felt like it wasnt completely dry. I'm not sure how I feel about the semi glossy finish, it looks almost like a toy or something that was spray painted with over the counter "gloss" spray paint. I guess we'll see how the performance is. The only thing I have seen so far was the usual K band falses on my daily route to which it alerted almost at the same time as the V1, (they are separated on each end of the windshield).

I will be testing the QT response and doing some comparisons with my 3.872 V1 and an STI tonight. Keep an eye out for videos. Let me know if you have any special requests.

Edit: I have 2 Stalker ATR's (34.7), a Kustom Talon (35.5) and a Kustom K band gun available for testing, so if anyone wants to see something specific, let me know

I'd love to see you try each of those guns on the redline using a Q/T technique - maybe try 1/4 sec increments (.25 sec, .5 sec, .75 sec, 1 sec, etc) and see how long of a pull you need to establish consistent (maybe 80-90% consistency) in picking up the signal.

Please try it against your Ka guns with only one powered up at a time. Heck, the K gun too.

The V1 isn't stealth, and might hurt the Redline's performance. (but you know that)

Run the V1 in "A" and the Redline in "Hwy" for comparison...

I run my 9500ix and V1 on each end of the windshields and the interference has seems minimal at most. I'd say you're safe. What are you initial observations regarding QT performance on the Redline?

The no pics or video has me beside myself from the first two posters here.

    Seriously though.

Q-T testing, and real-encounter scenario testing would be great.
