    Default 9500ci question

So I am looking at getting a V1 and the 9500ci, will they play well together? Are the CI's laser receivers/shifters the same thing as the LI jammers? Or would they just add another layer to the LI?

    Sorry for being a noob

V1 + 9500ci is a strong combo for radar and RLC. The CI's laser shifters aren't that great. On the other hand an LI is.

The 9500ci and V1 work extremely well together. Run the ci in highway and spec mode. You'll be able to ID the frequency of an alert and know where it is coming from (V1's arrows). The shifters of the ci though are pretty bad. If you decide to get the LI, just run the LI by tself and turn the laser shifters on the ci off.

Awesome thanks guys that's what I was looking for. I thought I read somewhere that using multiple radar detector's was a bad idea due to the interference they give each other? Is that resolved by the remote antenna?

Running two windshield mounted RDs at the same time may cause interference but running a remote and a windshield RD usually won't cause interference. I myself have not noticed any inerference between my V1 and ci. Good luck with your setup

I've been running the 9500ci and V1 together for almost a year and a half. The hood and the engine block between them seems plenty good enough to prevent interference.

I understand the LI are much superior to the shifters on the ci... so why you would run those together... i'm not following why the 9500 and the V1 together - where they seem to be pretty much the same in performance?

V1 is better with I/O, 9500ci has raw range. As for the LI and ZR4 together, if you have them why wouldn't you put them on?

I've been running both for the last week. It has many advantages. Now I have Spec mode with arrows and bogey counter in addition to the GPS warnings. Also the ci has much better range than the V1, but the V1 alerts faster. I've got my Ci on loud and the V1 just audible so it makes for a quiet ride even when falseing (V1's bright enough you notice the display).

Only think I don't like (besides the cost) is the having a detector back on the window. The ci is nice because if stoped, you don't have a visable detector and have better odds of gettng a warning.

x2. VI,CI,LI, is the best combo money can buy.
