    Question EScort 7500

Does anyone know which antenna this unit has? Is it comparable to the S7 antenna?

    Thanks

    - The 7500 uses an "S6" platform, like the first-gen BEL Express models.

    - The 7500S uses an "M2" platform, like the Solo S2 and second-gen BEL Express models.

Neither one is comparable in performance to the S7.

I had a Solo it was garbage if its the same platform I don't think you will be happy with the sensitivity.

I don't much about these older units. I'm assuming the S7 is a better design?

S7 was used in the 8500 and the early 8500x50's. Now Escort uses the M4 in the newer 8500x50's, 9500i, and 9500ix. Most members think the older S7 is slightly better than the newer M4.

When he speaks, no need to ask more. Enough answer for me.

When the 7500 was made QT was not even a question. Just lately has it even been talked about. My X50 was the best RD I ever owned and never failed, since it never heard of QT. I got both my V1 because I think they are better. Don't down grade Escort for QT only they still make dame fine products.

Check the link in your sig. GOL's I/O test included a S7 8500. Also, ELVATO did a QT test with the 8500 S7 as well:
