9500CI has way more features than a V1. Stealth, GPS, Remote, Jamming, Voice, Frequency display, and consistently better performence on 35.5 Ka C/O, I/O but not QT. If those features are not worth it to you, you can't just say it's "over priced". If it was that over priced it wouldn't sell at all. To some customers that would like a V1, it is over priced, but does not that make a blanket "over priced" product.

Some say a 9500ix is over priced, I don't think it is, and I just sent my V1 back for a 2nd 9500ix. V1 falses too much for me. Took me a full month to realize it.

I think the whole QT thing is up for debate and if it is found to be a serious issue I believe escort will address it.
X2, and some people here certainty go out of there way to make the point that that because they see something as fact they need to push it on everyone when in fact they are wrong when looking at the bigger picture.

If you don't like it, don't buy it then. Some take this sh*t to serious and continue to bash. What does one get out of talking sh*t about other brands, it's not like your getting paid. Every RD has it's up and downs. I could talk sh*t about the V1 and I could talk sh*t about the 9500iX. I don't because nothing is perfect. No matter what, some people will never be happy. If there is an issue with QT, I am sure Escort will come out with a firmware upgrade soon.

I am simply stating that they BOTH make d*** good products IMHO (based on what I've seen in videos regarding the V1) In fact, my next detector probably will be a V1. Anyway, I've noticed some folks on here stating that Escort's are bad with regards to picking up quick RF HOLD operation by law enforcment officers. I respectfully beg to differ on that opionion. In fact, just today, my lowly 8500x50 picked up instant on from a Colorado State Trooper running Ka band several times. I started picking him up (shooting instant on Ka) as I was entering the interstate AND HE WAS TOTALLY OUT OF MY FIELD OF VISION AND WAS AROUND A SLIGHT CURVE IN THE INTERSTATE SHOOTING SOUTHBOUND I-25 traffic. So, to summarize, I'm simply stating that I feel that Escort should be given just a tad more credit for their products that's all. Oh, and one more thing. With regards to the Redline, MOST new products are going to have bugs when first introduced to include automobiles. Just some food for thought folks.
You forgot to add that the ones you are speaking of don't even own any Escort products. They belong in the V1 area, and should stay there.

Anyone receive a verified ticket because of this so-called QT thing?

What about all the V1s running around COMPLETELY dead on one or all bands and not even a way for it to let you know about it? This has happened to me on both a V1.7 and a V1.8, so I speak from experience.

Wrong. Most of the people reporting these problems DO own Escort products, including every member of GOL. And many of those who discuss this the most are doing so from personal experience. There are darn few here simply parroting something they heard someone else say.

That's sort of like asking "have you stopped beating your wife yet?" It's not a valid question, because there is no way to know what technique the officer used, or exactly how your RD reacted. The best you can do is to take the evidence of the possibility, and try to avoid it.

My personal opinion..... Junk, if you plan on using them for Q/T or under 1 second I/O encounters. They are very good at constant on though. I have had many tickets issued from use of quick I/O and they did not alert. 8500 X50, 9500ix, and there so called Redline or "Borderline" which is all it is against trying to beat the V1. It may alert 1/2 second quicker at 80 MPH, but what good is that on constant on, when any cheap detector will pick this C/O up in plenty of time to slow down. Now instant on...... hmmmm watch out and be careful and cautious if you are planning on running any Escort product. My V1 is one good detector. Glad I bought it! I will never own another Escort product again unless it can pick up instant on under 1 second consistently.

Boyeeeee I sure have, and got 100% proof of it in the form of citations that I can post pics to prove it. But they state on the ticket for radar ""I/O"" That is why I say under 1 second I/O, the Escorts are 90% useless. Tons of video on this great site to back it up, and my personal encounters also.
