A lot of escort lovers HATE V1 for being TOO sensitive yet LOVE RL for being even MORE sensitive.

Your 9500ix has this same alert, but only in expert mode.
What some hate about the V1 is the excessive false alerts. The RedLine is just as bad. I have not seen anyone that dislikes the V1 for its false alerts, but likes the RedLine. That wouldn't make sense.
The Redline detected a couple of falses the RX65 never did. For the greater detection range I'll deal with it. Switching it to auto on the streets helps. When I get that first off-axis save, I'll forget all about falses!
I really wish I had some solid info on how it determines how to alert to more than one signal in the same band. Intuitively, I'd think it would follow the same rules as TrueLock, that it breaks the band into blocks and if two signals are in the same block they count as one, but I'm just guessing.
That sucks, cause I like riding my 9500ix in SC mode (which is the one where it tells you the BAND frequency). While in 'exp' mode, all it visually shows is the letter K and a little graph, but no numeric values.
Do you guys ride in 'SC' mode (tells you the frequency) or in 'exp' (which pretty much is a letter and a bar) ?

I'm assuming that the 9500ix and other GPS RD dont do the following:
Day 1: You manually lock-out the signal from a known false location
Day 2: You set your 9500ix on 'exp' mode , drive by there and a cop is waiting there, 9500ix reads that its a similar signal but because the first one was locked-out it wont alert you at all
The 9500ix only locks out a small portion of the X or K band, not the whole thing. The only time the 9500ix will not alert to the LEO's radar is if the signal is in the same frequency block as the locked out radar signal. Even in that situation, it is still likely that the 9500ix will alert to the LEO's radar signal, because it will probably be a lot stronger signal and carry far outside the lockout radius. So, in the case that the LEO's radar signal and the false alert are in the same frequency block, the 9500ix will alert up until the lockout radius, then go silent once that lockout radius has been reached, with the satellite spinning on the display.
