The Redline does a much better job with the Redflex low power "K" band speed camera's (24.1). I have been running the Redline around town just for that purpose, lots and lots of false alert's, it will alert sooner to the false than the V1 and also found a few new one's to boot. So not a good RD for around town, but you have to know that up front. This Redline is for the highway only.

I believe Radar Roy has a video of the Redline picking up the K band Speed Camera.

Your 9500ix has this same alert, but only in expert mode.

What some hate about the V1 is the excessive false alerts. The RedLine is just as bad. I have not seen anyone that dislikes the V1 for its false alerts, but likes the RedLine. That wouldn't make sense.
I can't seem to get my Redline to voice alert to "multiple signals" in expert mode or any other for that matter any ideas.

Its not easy to fool for some reason if its like my 9500's, but it does to do it with 34.7 KA alerts. It tends to work with real encounters or locations with many falses.

As a side note, YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ME! i was ready to test out the newest version of the V1 because it seems to be there best one yet and now all the RedLine hype!

From listening to all of these members talking about the Redline, it sure would be hard not to pick it.

I was skeptical about the Redline's performance at first, I thought it really wouldn't be much better than the STi since it's the same platform. The problem with the STi was that it had mediocre K band performance, the Ka band performance was always excellent, on axis and off. So far the Redline really seems to be alot more sensitive than my Sti against K band. I alerts to my K band false locations earlier than any of my other RD's. And I posted a few videos of it in the videos section of it against Ka band I/O and it did really well. I have had it almost a week and so far I really like it.

I don't think the Redline does a voice alert that says "multiple signal", if it does someone must have a different Redline than I do..... I have tried every mode and nothing.
