Is there a satellite dish, especially one mounted low, on the building you're driving by when you have the false?

Put the Redline into Spec mode and see what the frequency is.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

X2 on both. If the frequency is 33.7xx, then it's definitely a satellite dish.

It could also be a car parked at the house with a cheapo Cobra in it that is left on.

In my experience, cheap RDs give off stronger, more erratic alerts than do leaky satellite dishes.
