Default spec mode vs falcon HR

Can the new falcon HR gun be positively identified by spec mode? In other words, will all falcon HR guns display the same frequency on spec mode. And if so anyone know what it is???

If you're talking about the handheld K band guns it will show up as a regular K signal 24.150

So if i detect a K-band 24.140 or 24.166 (for example) I can rule out The Falcon HR as a possible source?

Well, there are other frequencies for K band. The gun can be out of tune as well or a different gun is being used. I think the other numbers are 24.167-24.178 and 24.211

is the falcon HR the only low powered k-band gun being used by psp today? I dont want to react to every k-band signal as if I got 2 seconds to slow down if I dont have too. Just wondering if I can use spec mode to ID/ruleout A possible low powered threat? Since these guns are relatively new how long can it be til they're out of tune?

Anything is possible. Maybe a trooper left the gun out in the sun and it baked the internals. You never know, but regardless you have to be prepared. If I were to pick up K in PA I'd slow down anyways. You never know. Since you don't have a V1 you won't know if there is more than one source and that extra source can be a trooper.

so your saying spec mode can not identify/ruleout a possible low powered Gun? i agree spec mode on an x50 has limitations and personally dont like it. But if it can give me an chance against the falcon HR its worth putting it out there for debate

No, not really. 24.150 is usually K band but Belscorts Spec mode can vary the read out and so can the LEO's gun if its slightly out of tune. Reflections of the signal may also vary the frequency.
I have seen specific LEO's always show as a particular frequency almost every time though.

Yes K is based at 24.150 but my Redline has almost never gotten it spot on. Frequencies generally won't help to identify a gun. If you get a K alert on a PA highway take it seriously because they almost exclusively use K. Now there are reports of Ka being used but I have yet to encounter it. If I get a K hit I always slow down, even if it turns out to be a drone better safe than sorry.
