    Default Redline POS

Failed to pick up Instant on triggers from two different speed traps on my 1000 mile road trip. One of them cost me a ticket. I was cruising at around 85 mph and bam FULL KA then nothing. Moving instant on leo. Made a uturn and got me. Then after that I just slowed down the rest of the way and came around a corner and BAM full KA cop was hiding in the bushes. Plenty of cars in front and behind me and it didn't pick up one shot to give me a warning.. If I cannot trust it wtf is the point in using it.

The thing is we will never know if the LEOs clocked the vehicles in front of you or not.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did and RL didn't pick it up though.

In one testing I did with it, the LEO was using moving I/O and I was the 4th car of the line going towards him. He clocked every single one of the 3 cars ahead of me (cars were about 200 feet apart) and I got nothing. When he clocked me I got full Ka alert.

Sometimes it's really very good and sometimes zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. IMO Keep the redline try the v1 for the free 30 day. I like my redline but I like the v1 a whole lot more.

Is this an issue with all Escort models or just with the Redline?

Escort in general has issues with I/O

All escort models are not great at detecting I/O (9500ci might be different, not sure) but all the windshield mounts that I have came across or tested, are less than ideal for I/O. If you are directly hit, they will always alert but at this point, your RD becomes an early warning for ticket coming.

For an unknown reason, if the cars in front of you are hit with really fast I/O, escort products may or may not alert depending on different circumstances such as reflectiveness of the area and other things. I am not saying you will never get a save and I am not saying you will always get a save, it just depends.

If your lone and only threat is I/O, don't go with escort. If you are afraid of C/O, then use escort big time. I think escort is a great company but the only field they need to improve on is I/O as far as I am concerned.

Few days ago I stopped a 9500IX user (didn't use the radar for like 10 minutes so he was done regardless of what he was using). The point is: I had enough time to turn the radar on, lock the speed, turn the radar off, bring my hand to the lights control panel and only at that very moment, he hammered his brakes.

    Wow! Very sad.
I really wanted to like this unit.
I have a V One but don' t use it unless I am on the open interstate.
Was looking for something to cancel out all the K band speed signs I am encountering. As I approach the city.
Will Escort solve this issue anytime soon?

I've been debating between the v1 and the redline and must admit, leaning more and more towards the v1.
