New members: What RD do you currently use?

V-1 based on reading this forum and other information on owners of the new car I am purchasing

I've had V1's since they've been introduced. Before that a *** with the LEDs in the dash, various BELs (one with the piggy backed laser detector), a Whitsler, the original Escort (wow, was that great for its time!) and yes, a Fuzzbuster!!!

My V1 is 3.802. What's the consensus on how well this version performs given all the newer updates?

A co-worker recommended this site when I told him I was interested in getting a decent RD after a few run-ins. After reading a ton of posts trying to educate myself better, I ended up getting a V1. I have very few purchasing regrets when I do the homework prior and this time was no exception.

I have a V1 for now but depending on how things go with it i might switch to an escort unit. alot of people seem to have good experiences with them.

I have been happy with the escorts from the 8500 to 8500 x50 and now with the 9500i. Maybe at some point i'll get a remote sti
