    Talking Noob w/questions

I'm a noob with a Honda Interceptor motorcycle. Looking to find out what I can do since jammers are illegal in Colo.

There's a video on youtube where a guy on a sport bike has a cop shoot him with lidar before and after veil. It was significantly harder to get him with veil. God on radarbusters's website to see what veil is. Many users on here use lidar jammers in banned states and they have no problems. They just shut them off in time. Remember speeding is illegal too.

The legality of jammers isn't a factor. Jammers are no more illegal than speeding. Many forum members here use jammers in illegal area. I will be one sometime this year hopefully (I live in TN). If you slow down and cut off the jammers you will be fine.

In the mountainous terrain of Western Colorado that is going to lead to a lot of point blank around the curve, over the hill shots. Bottom line: Shot under 1000ft with passive countermeasures=raped.

A dual Laser Interceptor would be plenty of protection on a bike. Maybe an Blinder M27?

Veil for the helmet with the jammer.

Wait, I don't think CO requires helmets.

    scottyx42 huh? Nice man, nice.

On the subject of laser jammer banned states, do the majority of laser guns have jammer detectors, and what's the range/acquisition time on them?

Some guns have jam codes but those aren't always accurate. Jammers aren't the only things that will set off jam codes on guns that utilize them (Laser Atlanta).

Good to know... I can see why you want the m-27's then, switching to jammer to "parking sensor" is pretty tricky, I bet that'll give cops a difficult time

The only gun used in the US that will throw jam codes against your Blinder would be the Laser Atlanta, which I highly doubt you'd ever come up against in Washington state and commonly throws jam codes for cars not equipped with jammers at all. The Blinders do not trigger jam codes on the guns you are most likely to see, which would be the LTI Ultralyte, the Kustom PLIII and probably the LTI TruSpeed. I haven't heard of the TruSpeed up there yet, but I'm sure they are there somewhere and will be increasing in popularity rapidly.
