    Default Hi from Not-so-Sunny Florida

I discovered this site while browning the web, and I must say thank you. I've always thought of radar detectors as gimmicks, but never as a tool that could actually be relied on as a "6th sense".

After doing some research I picked up a brand new Valentine 1 and have been having a blast. Even when I'm not driving "spiritedly" I find it fun to just pick out the LEOs from all of the signals. (thanks to the arrows and counter it's pretty simple)

I also love how you can custom program it to suit your needs. Thanks to FL law, I can disable X band completely. It sure quiets it down for when I just need to get where I'm going in a hurry.

Now I just need to get a LIDAR jammer. I'm looking at the Laser Interceptor, but I have a really small car. (96 Miata)

Congradualtions on choosing the best radar detector available. Depending on if you want front and rear lidar protection, I would go with either the LI dual (just for frontal protection) or the LI quad (two heads on the front and two on the rear).

large or small car, the LI is always the best if you got the money. Glad your getting a jammer as I'm seeing a lot more lidar this year than last year.
