How do you like your 9500ix?

I tested my V1 for a couple of weeks. It was very annoying with all the false beeps. In some cases I would get 4 or 5 false beeps on one intersection.

I have a Escort 9500ix ON ITS WAY for a good test

IMHO .. The V1 SEEMS OLD SCHOOL

I have used both in South Florida, and agree that the 9500ix is much more effective given the sheer volume of false alerts you have to contend with.

That said, it sounds like you didn't switch off X band on your V1.

Sorry I haven't responded right away. Busy with the holidays lately. Just got back from Orlando few days ago. FHP are busy ticketing speeders. Drove my wife's SUV but used my 9500ix for the trip. Loving the RD even more after that long drive. Lots of Ka radar being used off the Florida turnpike. Very quite most of the time. Alerted me to red light camera off Bird road in Orlando near the Millenium mall. Could'nt be any happier. Also, I will have a chance to get my blinders tested on Jan 2. Can't wait to see how it does it's job.
