    Default Rusty in Texas

    Hi everyone,

I purchased my first RD from Roy, man I guess its been 5 or 6 years ago as best I can remember, hell it may have been longer. I bought the 8500 X-50 blue when it was the RD to have. I still have it and works fine at least as far as I can tell. Looking at upgrading it to a Redline if I can justify the benefits to the extra money a Redline will cost. The technology, laws, and weapons in this game we play sure have changed a lot. I did the hold three button down and power up test, it says I have revision 10, I think that's 1.0 right???? Maybe I do need to spend the money with a 1.0??? Will post lots of questions and do lot and lots of reading and research here.

The Redline is def going to be a big upgrade as compared with the X-50. I would research to see what tactics the enforcement are using before you purchase another RD. the reason i went with the V1 is that the cops in college station use quicktrigger and instant on a lot and the V1 has not let me down so far.
