Hello from Mass.
Hi Everyone. My name is Mike, I live in SE. Mass. Came to the experts for advice. I have a Passport 7500 and a 8500. The 8500 is going back to escort for the 3rd time in 3 months. Called the company today tried to get a better price on 9500Ix since they cant fix my 8500 and Ive spent $100 on shipping and repairs. They dont want to hear it.
Does anyone know how reliable the new 9500 is. Thanks Mike

If you do a lot of highway driving, i would shift over to the V1.....Raw performance for the cost....But if you plan to do a lot of city driving, i would think twice. Unless you want to be doing the thinking for the detector.

Most of my driving is rural and city, I think my biggest threat is the locals hiding on the country roads. I just get a bad taste from escort. 2 detectors gone back about 5 times over 7 years. Mike
