Yea, probably. But wouldn't flashing the badge be enough? lol

Anyways, welcome to the forum. Do you run any lidar or Ka band? What kind of equipment do you have? How do you run them? (C/O or I/O) Thanks!

They can tell one another by the bear sticker in the back window. I know because my friend next door to me is a police officer. They also have differ color bear sticker to tell them by county.

What part of Bama. I'm here working in Hunstville for the next few weeks and all I have seen up here is 34.7 and 35.5 Ka band.

I also saw a local with a PL3 but I was going the other way so did not get him to take a shot at me.

What lidar units are they using in AL?

Welcome and thanks for your observations. I have a question. When you pull someone over in a pack, do you usually get one in the front of the pack or do you pick out a car in the middle or back? I'm guessing you probably pick the car that looks like it's being the most aggressive (if that description makes sense to you) wherever it lies in the pack. And does a sporty looking car draw your attention more?

Well thanks to all who welcome me, i just want to say yes i run my own rd in a dodge truck, and its a beltronic's picks up from behide and foward's. Will try the valentine one, in the future. Also hello to la bama we know it as lipscomb alabama. If its the same la in bama that i know of. Also the question on the threshold speed,i give a person 15mph over, then i make the stop, if he talks good and has got a good attitude i write a warning first time. Bad attitude, then ticket! I can't write a person for something i might do,oh yes i have been in a bad mood and look down and wow! Over the limit. Thats why i carry a detector in my truck. Also everyone gets a heavy foot every now and then. Oh and i am not like the old cops, if i see a radar detector then good for that guy, most old heads, write them up. I don't think thats fair. Give a guy a break if ya can!..sometime you can't. Anyway the bel beats the escort in my test. I have owned many many radar detectors, and i got to see the valentine beat the beltronic's
i love to run test for anyone who has one,i have been in eletronic's for 30 yrs in another hobby, not cb, but couple a cb and a radar detector and common sense, and be safe. I have found trucker's to be the most helpful and safe. Bye from bama.
