The videos are demonstrations that panning/sweeping errrors are easy to accomplish (but I doubt there's any crooked cops trying to meet their quota this way). If the LEO sweeps your hood as you're coming down a hill, he could easily read your speed plus 10MPH. If you're already PSL+10 you're now PSL+20 and SOL.

Nope, no experience with lidar guns so I guess I talk out of order but do agree, the ground is not a hood nor a grille.
