Valentine1 won't mute or change modes help!!!!!!

My V! all of the sudden wont mute or change modes but works fine. It's driving me crazy. I have tried changing cables with 3-4-and-6 conductors and still nothing. I have it connected to the cigarette adapter. What should I do to fix this problem?????

Welcome to the forum. Use the factory cable and cig plug in to check the RD. Check the program and make sure all arrows are up (default), go the Valentine website for programming info or ask questions here. Then if not working correctly, call Valentine and they will help you and most likely ask you to send the unit in for repair...
