If there is sufficient space below the main headlights, that would be my first choice. Otherwise perhaps on the second or third tier of the main grill to the extreme left and right. If the head placement is tough, I am going to recommend Veil to take care of the headlights and foglights. When used in that manner, the placement of the heads are going to be less critical as they have less work to do. Those headlights are the tough ones to protect from laser.

Also, make sure your heads are dead level. Tests have shown that when they are off, even a little bit, their effectiveness drops, sometimes, dramatically so.

I'll be interested to see what other opinions are from others.

Good luck. One other thing, with the new lasers out there, the older ci and the ZR4s are less effective. If you are going to go through the trouble you may want to consider updating them to the Laser Shifter Pros. ALP appears to be the best thing going at the moment. The LIs and Blinders don't appear to be as full-proof.

Cut out an 18" circle and use the center as where the head could be placed for best coverage of both fog and main HL. You want the circle to overlap both lights for best results. If it won't then cover the main and what ever part of fogs and veil for the help with your system. The circle represents coverage from head.

Going down low on the bumper could be a challenge for the jammers to cover the headlight reflections.

Brownout's suggestion sounds pretty solid to me.

I have a video here on installing a laser jammer you may find helpful: How to Install and Use Your Laser Jammer

Also I agree with Bob, the ZR4 is somewhat dated, if you're going through all the steps to put a jammer on you may want to consider getting a new one.
