Need advice

I'm certainly not speaking from any experience with that vehicle, but just looking at the pics, I can't imagine that you'd have to do anything more than pop out the tail light assembly. It just doesn't make any sense that you'd have to do anything with the bumper. But sorry, without actually inspecting the car in person, it's almost impossible to tell for sure.

As for off-axis, this is true. You just rarely see a cop directly in front of you. He's almost always off to the side of the road, or on an overpass. This has lead to some speculation that angling heads off-axis may be beneficial. However, to this point, all testing indicates otherwise. In order to get the maximum amount of support from BOTH heads on each shot -- from any direction -- it is best to have the heads perfectly aligned straight ahead. Having both heads capable of contributing to the counteroffensive is key to success. And keeping the heads spread as widely as possible positions them for maximum off-axis effectiveness. That's why mounting in the green would be your absolute last choice.

I know Stealth. It just doesnt make sense to me either. But I've asked so many ppl, and they all say the same thing. There's gotta be a way but I havent figured it out yet. Green would be my last choice, but it may be the only one at this point. Its getting cold, and I'm not going to take off my entire rear bumper to take of tail lights on the trunk. As I'm typing this, it STILL makes absolutely no ****ing sense to me..... Green would KILL me on off axis hits, but it may be my only option at this point.

I can relate. My Impala has the heads mounted in the green. It's big and white, with wraparound tail lights, so it worries me. Street testing yields excellent results, but still susceptible to rogue punchthroughs, sometimes even at long distances. It only takes one lucky shot to ruin your day.

Luckily for you, those tail lights come far enough towards the center that they can assist you in good placement, unlike my car. But yeah, if you have to do major body work to get it done, that's a choice you'll have to think about.

So I called Honda, dont know why I didnt think of it before. The guy on the phone is thinking the same thing I am. Why in the world would the bumper have to be taken off. He's pretty sure I dont have to, but to make sure, is checking for me. I had a busy day at work today, so I had to call him back. 2 hours later, he's at lunch, so I'll have to call him back in about an hour.

Called the guy back. He's saying that all I have to do is take off 3 nuts, and one clip for each tail light. Problem is, I only see one nut.... Hmmm.

To the ones ON the trunk? JUST the tail lights on trunk? I dont see why you'd have to take off the bumper.

That seems to be what most late model cars are starting to do. I know mine pop right out with three wing nuts, and the flat brackets easily slip in between the light assembly and the body.
