    Default Laser targeting from behind

I recently purchased a laserpro 905, and was thinking to just mount all three jamming heads upfront. I would mount the two smaller ones under my bumper (unfortuantly is a little reccesed = ineffecient jamming?) and I also have a front plate so i was thinking about mounting my third head on their to be safe. So my question is do police set up traps to target people from behind or can i mount all three up front. PLus even if i mount it in the back is that 1 head good enough over my plate for my whole rear end. Thanks

Its gettting more common for them to shoot you from behind but most of them still shoot from the front.....mounting all 3 up front would be your best bet unless you have a small car...then go 2 up front and one in the rear.

Whether LEO’s target from behind depends entirely on where you live.

Perhaps there are other forum members who have witnessed or been hit themselves from the rear in your neck of the woods.

Check speed trap websites also for trap listings in your area.

As far as recessed jammer heads, you want the top of the very front of the jammer heads to have an unobstructed view skyward, which means you will want them sticking out just past the front fender or grille, depending on where you mount them.

If you are targeted from an overpass for example, where the LEO is elevated, recessed jammer heads may have a hard time defending you.

Default put all 3 up front

in all my years living in south florida they never set traps except oncoming in front of car. put all 3 up front. traps down there are in sides of bushes or road where many cars get nailed. 3 is the way to go. d

Does anyone know if they target you from behind in Texas? I've searched the forum and couldn't find anything on this.

I think a sticky should be made or an addition to the stickies in the speed trap info section about this stuff even though rear targeting is still up in the air.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction touche.

From what I read from http://www.radardetector.net/ANYONE-...XAS-10480t.php , it looks like police are starting to use laser more and more, and that investment in a rear laser jammer, in Texas, might not be a bad idea.
