The AL is good but it's expensive...I voted for the Escort Zr3 as long as you use VEIL and a Lasershield

I still have my ZR3, so I would have voted for using both the ZR3 and AL cause that is what I'm going to do. When I get the ZR3 installed I'm going to see if the ZR3 is compatible to link to my STi.

from the aug '05 LJ shootout it was decent against the ultralyte, only a little exposed on the headlight shots but veil should take care of that as they mentioned.

i would say your more exposed to Laser Atlanta Stealth Mode since it doesn't even detect it. better have a v1 in that case. im considering getting a zr3 now that all this is over...lets see what ds will cough up first?

i to am thinking about getting a zr3 since the posting of these results. i was not too impressed by the performance...given, i know that nothing is good against angle shots, but i thought it should be better than this? either way, the old test seemed to show that the zr3 is a very good unit and shown by outrun and fords video with all 3 heads up front....the zr3 is where my money is right now.

Zr3 performs horribly against Stalker LZ1 if I remember correctly?

yes you are right, pretty bad against the stalker, and should be paired with viel and LS as with any other jammer.
