How are LPP and Antilaser Different?

Hearing they are the same thing by the same manufacturer only diff is the packaging is now LPP.

They look the same and sound the same to me.....question is do they perform the same and whats the diff if any?

Can anyone shed some light on the issue...does anyone even know the diff?

I will actually be getting my LPP 8.3 tomorrow and just wanted to know some more background info on the product/ company and what the issues were on the forums with talking about them since Im new and dont know yet.

What really matters is performance. I suppose you did some research before making the decision. If no, just search this forum and you'll find plenty of good info.

You've already bought it, so what's the point in digging up history.

And no, LPP 8.3 and AL 8.3 are not identical. Similar yes, but not identical.

Yeah from all the research I did LPP owns the market on performance right now.

But along the way I kept reading mixed info about antilaser and LPP and people are saying they are the same thing with a different name.


I just wanted a clear answer as I had no Idea and knowledge is a good thing...I like to know as much as possible about things that im interested in.

It matters little with regards to a purchase as Ive already made mine and expect I will be very pleased with the performance but I still like to know what the diff is with them.

The problems on this forum to me sounds less like patent issues and more so about not promoting the competition.

I'm assuming that there is a conflict with Roy selling them on his site from others who have probably a lot of time money invested in business with Roy and possible written contracts with him which is where the legal issues come from... its not to cover his ass from getting sued because of patent issues its probably more to do with a breach of contract terms he has with blinder and the other manufacturers regarding sales of their product on his website.

Just my guess from reading between the lines and understanding how business works. You cant always be impartial, when big money is involved.

In any event these are great forums and I appreciate the info here and help from you guys.

Antilaser also = JTG.

You can't go wrong performance wise with either one based on what I have seen.

From what I understand, the LPP is a copy of AntiLaser. The AntiLaser has some newer software out with additional features that the LPP does not have.

Yes they are both parking sensors too. The AntiLaser's latest software revision allows the user to turn the parking feature off if they want to.
