The 100pps Ultralyte is a special case. Another gun used overseas, the Jenoptik Laserpatrol, also uses 100pps. Jammers cannot distinguish between the two, and if they are going to jam both guns then they need to use the same algorithm to jam both. This usually poses a problem: most algorithms which successfully jam the 100pps Ultralyte cannot also jam the Jenoptik without tripping jam codes, and jam codes are a big deal in countries where the Jenoptik is used. On the other hand, most algorithms that can jam the Jenoptik with no error codes don't jam the 100pps Ultralyte. Jammer manufacturers are struggling to find a balance between these two guns...

Default What do all the "keep it real" comments & nota

Curious: I keep seeing various people, often (usually??) senior members repeatedly saying how they "keep it real". I may be a little dense, but what, exactly, does this mean? Is it an inside joke? A code? :?

Hope people don't mind my curiosity. ........

Yes now let's see if Ivan will be the first one to keep it real from prototype from to retail form. He has a lot of bad examples that he can learn from and the best part it is all a free education for him.
RIP Duncan my BELOVED black lab son 8/7/99-3/23/11. I will miss you DEARLY.

Yeah it's somewhat of an "inside joke thing".

People use it all the time, but in reference to this place, it started a couple of months ago with happya$$ talking **** to me, to see if I would "keep it real" at the GOL event, which i did.
well that was pretty much the "theme" of the weekend, was for everyone to "keep it real".
that stuck, so people have been saying it/using it.

it's all about telling it like it is, let the tests results fall where they fall, and "keeping it real" with no "nut swinging".
