200 Million dollars!!!![]()
Well, divide that by a million![]()
In all seriousness, though, I would actually recommend that you keep it. If it indeed works, and you were thinking of getting a jammer in the future, then keep it. 118 dollars was a steal.
Yeah I told myself I was gonna get a blinder years ago. So at last I have a jammerI think I'll sell it when I decide to throw down the cash on a diode jammer, though. . .
I'm thinkin of getting a front plate bracket so I can mount the rear one on the front plate. I think I can pull off the install myself, shouldn't be too bad.
I know from experience that a ZR-3's rear head will not protect against rear laser tickets. You can put it on the back if you'd like rear laser DETECTION, but don't count on it jamming anything.
Heh yeah. The state troopers around here shoot at the front anywho![]()
Enjoy your ZR3 mine has treated me well. Keep in mind however if you encounter a LaserAtlanta gun your ZR3 will become only a detector again. And I think the ZR3 throws up a jam code on the LA gun as well. Whatever that means. Mine does a great job against the PL2s and 3s around here.

Estimated saves in U.S. Dollars: $200
Anyone know if Laser Atlantas are popular in S. FL? I was thinking of a Blinde M25, but came across a good deal on a ZR3 also.Originally Posted by erickonphoenix
The ZR3 Jams Laser Atlanta very well. The problem comes when LA is run in stealth mode, then the ZR3 is defeated and wont even alert to it. As for jam codes every jammer on the market throws jam codes on the LA. If you pan the gun on the road you will also see the JA3 jam code...so if an officer sees a short JA3 its nothing to worry about. Slow down and shut down the jammer as soon as possible.Originally Posted by erickonphoenix
They use LA's in my area and I've never had a second look from a LEO.
Dont JTG and you will be ok.
I don't know about S. Florida, but I know they have it up here in Seminole County, and they also use it on I-4. FHP uses it as well, I just don't know if they use down south.Originally Posted by Category 5
Well it came in and unfortunately it's not gonna work out. I think it's a good unit, but I think the heads are a little too big to mount up nicely.
So it might go back on the bay or something, and I'll put that toward an LPP or LI in the next month or so.
I've been thinking about a jammer too long now, though. . . -sigh-
