    Default Atlanta Laser Testing 3/21

I had a blast! It was great to meet some fellow enthusiasts and test all the setups. Looking forward to the results; definitely learned some weak points in my system.

Was also able to test K band against a real cop toward the end. For the record, the V1 picked it up about a second before the 9500ci.

Results and videos should be up in a few days.

The UL LR-B again gave Rsatmans and Myself trouble on our twisty up and down course. On the straight section we did much better. We did find that if you run your HID headlights on it greatly impairs the UL's ability to get a reading.

I was JTG and JFG on the Truspeed, but the UL LR-B could get me out to about 1300'. Once we switched to a straight course it was under 100' on CM and 600' on headlight. Once I turned my headlights on it was JTG.

I'll try and remember bail money for the next test event!!!

The UL is tricky, I'd say it's harder to jam than the TS.
That's what I thought too when I tested Stalker's car with his UL. It was JTG to pretty much everything but the UL, it has something special...

It was a great time. I guess LEOS thought it was to much fun. I have to say that LR-B is the baddest gun PERIOD. If you are not illiciting PT with it then you must have Parkinsons. Bottom line I got tore up by Truspeed and LrB. It was painful since I was shooting to see my car in the hud with a speed under it.

Your LI got eaten up by Truspeed? That is unusual!

My modified ZR4 heads performed significantly better compared to stock ZR4 heads. Rsatmans commented that the modified heads performed like a totally different laser jammer and that it was much harder for him to get PTs since the modified heads produced nearly continuous steady tones on the laser guns rather than the very warbly tones which the stock heads produced. He said it that with the stock heads it was obvious that the laser guns behaved as if they always were really close to getting PT. Yet the modified heads didn't produce similar behavior.

I am not disclosing details of the modifications since they are still a work in progress.
