Has anyone here been caught with a laser jammer in a state where they are illegal?

I am doing research on whether I should get a Blinder M27 jammer in San Diego (where they are illegal) If I can find a pro to install it, and whether buying something to conceal the jammer is worthwhile like...
A-bond.com but its like 300 bucks!!!!!!

yeah, I am in the same position - I live in Santa Barbara and would like an M27 (or wait for the new one?) but am not sure of the consequences of getting caught with one - the FAQ says it's a misdemeanor but can they impound your vehicle or does the 'parking sensor' option do the trick? Also, any ideas on California installers (I am completely helpless with tools) - any input from CA drivers appreciated

looks like you and I are in the same boat dude! haha and I happen to be driving through Santa Barbara on Sat to get to Cal Poly San Louis Obispo... I already looked up a few known speed traps in your town

But about the Blinder M27, I think it is out now with the parking sensor. But is it worth paying 400 for the blinder and then 300 for a way to hide it? Sounds like overkill.

Adjust your speed then turn off the jammer and you will be fine. I would also recommend not speeding on surface streets where close proximity shooting is more commong.

There seem to be alot of people on the forum from CA that use jammers that have never had a issue. Use erickonphoenix's advice and you will be fine.

I dunno if that video counts (although the LEO's laser gun did show jammed AFAIK) because the device in question wasn't really close to being a jammer .

Just like how any product that clown sells never does what it says on the cover .
