No they have just taken to sitting in the middle of overpasses so they can target both directions. Doubling up on their opportunities to make some Super Speeder bucks!!

That blue Z06 that Snoopy posted above is mine. Do a search under my name and you will find other pics and things I posted about my install. But to answer your question about mounting, I made my own brackets and took my time in mounting them to make sure they were level and they were positioned where I wanted them etc etc and then just drilled up into the nose to permanently mount them. I wasnt worried about drilling up into the nose because you cant see the holes anyway. I actually have a quad LI setup and it has worked great. There arent many choices on mounting locations but as luck would have it, you dont need many anyway. The mounting locations for the front, as you see above, and the rear (see link below) works perfectly.
