Yes, and those countries can keep the fine. But we do have people here getting tickets fron other countries. Especially the Swiss are very punctual (like their clocks). Not paying wsill mean a arrest warrent, so you cannot go into that country again.

Thast a very very interesting encounter you had with that undercover car! You were so lucky and unlucky at the same time taalking on the phone and passing the undercover cop car like that! Its quite interesting how you can go into another country without having to stop at some kind of immigration checkpoint? I wish it was that easy to drive to China from Hong Kong.

Even here in HK they have undercover cars with similar devices that have characteristics just like yours in Spain. But there are only 5 or 6 undercover cop cars in HK.

Nasty. This poor guy just got caught yesterday by photo-lidar (Lasercam NT) doing 260km/h (160mph) in an A8.

He probably never even realised they caught him until he came on the news, no flash, they were on the oposite side of the divided highway on a parked car, etc. Maybe he even though he was safe because at over 250km/h the radars (Multanova) do not work, but the lasercam works up to 310km/h.

You can see from the bottom text that he was targeted at 96,3 meters distance. This stretch of highway is completely straight and flat, 100% visibility, low traffic, and with a divided and fenced off 2-way direction double lanes. A very low low risk stretch of road... perfect for a speed trap :roll:

That's such a load of crap. There's nobody else out there for him to be threatening, but he gets a ticket for it... that's bullcrap
