Nasty. This poor guy just got caught yesterday by photo-lidar (Lasercam NT) doing 260km/h (160mph) in an A8.
He probably never even realised they caught him until he came on the news, no flash, they were on the oposite side of the divided highway on a parked car, etc. Maybe he even though he was safe because at over 250km/h the radars (Multanova) do not work, but the lasercam works up to 310km/h.
You can see from the bottom text that he was targeted at 96,3 meters distance. This stretch of highway is completely straight and flat, 100% visibility, low traffic, and with a divided and fenced off 2-way direction double lanes. A very low low risk stretch of road... perfect for a speed trap :roll:
