2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee install questions

Hello, all-

Despite a search I didn't see anything, so here I go-

Has anyone installed an LI in 2011-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee? I'm thinking of adding a 2014 to the family & wouldn't mind some tips on firewall access & mounting, etc.

Did you search thru the two threads in the Install Section.Biggest question is getting thru the firewall,after that it's a piece of cake.

Hmmm....still don't see anything for the 2011-2014 model years. 2010 & prior are quite different.

Now also searching for how to get through firewall on 2011-2014 BMW 5 series (F10 generation). Stuck between getting a Jeep or another BMW.

Today, in Dallas, I am having one of our local, extremely reputable car stereo installers install Escort ZR4 lazer shifters in my new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4, hooked up to my windshield mounted 9500ix. They have installed the ZR4 in my past 3 rides. I can provide pics of the mounting location if you want to see. lemmeno.

Yes, thanks, I would like pics. I'd also like to know where they got 12V power from and, more importantly, how & where they routed the wires through the firewall.
