CJR238 I notice your heads are close together. I remember reading some where on the escort forum that having your heads close together really improves the ZR4's performance. I'm pretty sure it was the escort rep who said that. Is there any truth in that statement?

It definitely makes your center mass a lot stronger protected. But it leaves your periphery/headlights unprotected.

I believe so, and logically it would help with center mass JTG. It did with my car. Luckily my headlights are small and HID.

    IMO there are 5 factors:

    1- Jammer ability.
    2- Body profile/design.
    3- Color (dark gray)
    4- Jammer proxcimity.
5- Head light size and type (HID).

Which is exactly why I don't understand why radarrob didn't PWN those headlights.

He did with the HID's off. It was very impressive with them on.

I even tried my self holding a good bead on them and JTG with HID's on.

Cool I have a similar set up although never tested I have had saves doing 20 over psl with the ZR4's against the UL but all where long range shots, (2300ft plus)

The best we could get was ~700ft with my HID's on.

Where? The results posted above are nowhere near what I would expect. Sub 40ft with a PLII is not normal for ZR4s. I would expect to get at least 700 - 800 ft PTs on those headlights with a PLII. Same with the Laser Atlanta results.

I've shot cars with HIDs and there was no noticable affect on jammer performance. I can't imagine why your HIDs would be any different.

Have you shot a dark colored 04-05 TL?

Hopefully i can test soon with a stronger gun and retest. I want to see if its consistent.
