X Band police car radars, they seem to be using Instant On these days.
Ka band fixed cameras, they take a picture of the front of the car. Some of these are very low powered.

    BULGARIA

    Radar X-band
Traffic Radar 4 (10.525 GHz numerous units, with CO and IO modes)

    Radar K-band
    Siemens ERS400, fixed cameras

    Radar Ka-band
Multanova 6F (mobile photo radar, 34.3 GHz)
MPH Bee3 (mobile radar, 33.8 GHz)
(There are only several units of the last two and they are very rare to encounter, if at all)

    Law
Operation of radar detectors is legal. It is illegal to use devices actively interfering with police speed measuring equipment.

Ka band fixed cameras, they take a picture of the front of the car. Some of these are very low powered.
Incorrect, see above: the Siemens ERS400 fixed cameras operate on K band.

After a little image search, now that I found some time, I can say that Kustom HR-12 (K band) is present in Greece in some PDs that rarely perform speed enforcement.

    Thnx for your time.

    Update for SLOVAKIA:

    20) Slovakia
    Radar:
NEW: MultaRadar CD, K band: 24.100GHz
Ramer-7, AD9, Ramer 10 (made in the Czech rep.)
    Ka-band: 34.00GHz and 34.30GHz
Usually built in cars, mainly Skoda Fabia, Skoda Felicia, Skoda Superb, VW Passat, VW Golf, Audi S4 - used either as stationary or mobile. Tripods are rarely used.

Note that only EURO versions of detectors will work for Ka band (Ramer) and only Stinger DSI / Card will also reliably detect the newly used MultaRadar CD

    Laser:
    LTI 20-20 Micro Digi-Cam
    LTI 20-20 TruSpeed

Mobile VASCAR: Polcam 2006 (as of today 2 units in VW Passat)

RD and LJ are banned as of Feb 1st 2009

    Сlarification for Russia

X-band is no longer exist. We only have K and Laser.

    K-band 24,150 GHz
Arena, Berkut, Vizir - low power. Arena may be very dangerous when stands in back of you.
Kris, Iskra-1, Radis, Binar - have structured signal which could be a big problem for cheap devices.
AC Strelka - undetectable by the most of rd's, but almost every unit is stationary and we have all the coordinates in our database.

    Laser
LISD-2M - not very useful, but can't be jammed.
AMATA - also rare, cause anyone haven't saw it yet.

The best choise for Russia is V1, especially some new versions. Plus you'll probably need some gps devices. Depends on region.

All the actual info you can find on our rd-forum.ru

    Update for Holland (Netherlands).

This week the dutch Highwaypatrol (KLPD) introduced the MultaRadar CD/CM, K band: 24.100GHz

    This replaces the Multanova 6F

Detection is very poor. Even with the Stinger DSI hardly detection....

Update concerning the Multaradar CD: Stinger announced that they are working on making the antenne of the new Stinger VIP compatable for the Stinger DSI. For the owners of the Stinger VIP there's coming a software update to make it suitable to detect the Multaradar CD. According to Stinger they are the only one at the moment to detect the Multaradar CD in time.

The previous information not fully corresponds to the range in the Russian Federation.

Use the following bands in accordance with the decision of the national regulator of GRFC (www.grfc.ru):

X range - radio frequency band the 10.2 - 10.68 GHz may be used low-power Doppler radar to measure the speed of movement of ground objects.
Ku band - separate radio frequencies in the band of 13.56 - 13,62 GHz are used low-power Doppler radar measurements of the speed of movement of ground objects.
K band - corresponds to the European according to ITU and CEPT 24,05-24,25 GHz.
Ka range corresponds to the European according to the CEPT.

The range of X is the radar SOKOL-VISA 10,525 GHz.
Ku-band (13.600 GHz) radar was used PKS-4 for the time being removed from operation.
The main range of the work of police radar K-band .
Ka-band at this time is not used.

There are specific features of the work of police radar. Very short and low-power pulses do not allow the radar-detectors time to detect their work. Requires special adaptation to the Russian radars. Especially the last modification KRIS, ARENA, KONKUR, KORDON, STRELKA, etc. Fortunately this K-band.
There are complexes of the figures speed without the use of radar, for example AUTODORIYA.These complexes can be determined only by the GPS, GLONAS and GALILEO.

    LIDAR:
    AMATA - 905nm, pulse frequency 44кГц
    LISD - 805нм, pulse frequency 2220 Hz.

Radar detectors are allowed to use without limitation.
Which put the device interference or interfere with radar and lasers are prohibited (radar and laser jamming).
