Yup, no rolling radar in Pa.
Just a million or so drones around every freakin corner.
I think this was posted somewhere else on here but is is worth a quick read about a proposed law about moving radar and lidar: PA Bulletin, Doc. No. 05-2316
Yes the "white" vans are PSP units they are used for speed enforcement and truck enforcement. Moving radar is not allowed by Pa State law. PSP has no vascar in their cars. I know for a fact that they leave there radar units on to "slow down" those how do have radar detectors. This is coming from a friend that is a trooper.

I never saw a PSP trooper leave their radar on while driving or when they have a customer. However, out of state, almost every cop with a customer leaves their radar on and have seen a few driving around with it on. I guess it is up to the cop.
Lets put it this way, I have driven the length of the PA turnpike more times and I wish to admit and I have seen it all on that road in the last 20 yrs. The PSP have done it all, hid in interesting places and changes their tactics over time. I does not surprise me anymore to see something I have not seen them do in the past.
Remember before anything is approved to use in PA it has to be tested and the PSP do most of that testing and MR is on the books in PA just not approved for use yet.
