I've never understood all this fuss about a front plate. You can't see it when you are driving the car or walking around the car except in the front.
I drive a C6 Vette and it has a plate in front since I feel there is no point in giving an LEO a reason to pull you over. If it bothers you when you walk around the front of the car close your eyes.
The front plate on the C6 is hideous even with my eyes closed. But perhaps more importantly it's also a hot laser target.Quote:

Fuxor my escort jammer covers the word Texas and a couple little 'stars' I'm so fearing getting arrested on misdemeanor charges for some bullsnap like that. Does anyone know if the jammer head will cover the word 'TEXAS' on a personal plate that just has a white background, no space shuttles and BS?

no real way to offset it, as the jammer head it's self is meant to be screwed in with the license plate, currently it's on the back plate. I'm thinking about drilling some holes in the front of the truck and mounting it above the front plate, but I just really would like protection in the back :(. Maybe I'll end up registering it out of state -- The jammer head works great with plain white california plates, nothing obscured.

yea, I know what you're saying but if you seen the back of my s-10 and where the plate mounts it's literally impossible unless I mount the jammer on the tailgate. Hell even without the jammer and the plate by it's self is somewhat obscured by the bumper(the words 'lone star state and below are literally obscured, what do I have to do take my entire back end off just to have a legal vehicle in TX christ!)
