Seems as if Vascar and Enradd aren't doing enough in raising revenue.

As I posted in another post, There are 3 bills currently in state senate that are up for vote. 2 of them have passed the transportation committee so far. The current bills would allow all local police departments to use radar as speed determit and to cut back on "road rage incidents".
2 of the bills have great support from the Pa Police Chief's Assoc. and the lobbyists are working heavily for it.

What are the 3 Bills, I can only find one for the Senate and House which are the same Bill with different numbers, here they are

SENATE BILL 296 P.N. 824
HOUSE BILL 1559 P.N. 1959

Then there is this one which sound like they are going to allow local police to patrol and ticket on highways which has been restricted to the state police in the past:

HOUSE BILL 490 P.N. 546

Can you point us to the 3 Bills you are talking about and if they are not online somewhere how do you know what they are about.

Also, as far as I have been able to tell the above Bill have not been voted on as of yet.

i was always more scared in pa rather than nj
i just got an apt in pa, i lived in nj all my life, and i have always been more scared to drive in pa due to the fact that my radar cannot catch vascar

I think if this does pass it will be all over the news, and I have not heard anything.

Due to the budget debacle, not much happened with it before the Legislature took their summer vacation. I think they'll be back in session in September.
