Hi,

I have designated this thread for the Southern California area.

For the cities of Perris, Sun City, and Menifee your biggest threat is KA. Sometimes you will run into Instant On but rarely. Normally it is Constant On.
The frequencies are 34.7 and 35.5 from my experience. No 33.8 as of yet.

For all the bigger cities such as LA, Orange County, Riverside you have both IO and CO KA as well as laser to worry about. If any users can post specific gun models and frequencies that would be helpful.

Ontario / Inland Empire uses KA band for the most part. Chino PD has laser, ka, and constant on K band, so leave K band on!

You can safely assume that your only threats in all of CA will be Ka, k, and laser.

Ka will always be most common as the chp only use this.

There is no x band or pop around (or so everyone says)

No, not necessarily. It could also be an instant on radar gun. Just because bike cop uses it does not mean it is automatically laser.
