Couple of California updates for you:
El Cajon: Ka-band, definitely K-band a year ago but I haven't seen it since.
Poway: Ka-band
San Diego County Sheriff: Ka-band, lidar, possible K-band in the boonies (Lakeside, Ramona, Spring Valley/Rancho San Diego)
San Diego Police Dept.: Ka-band and lidar

Tulsa: Ka band, K band in use by TPD, highway construction signs also give strong K signal. Used to gauge average speed for informational purposes

New York State Police - Mostly Ka (Stalker Dual & DX2 - I/O), Laser, very few k band units left.
NYS Park Police - Mostly K (C/O), some Ka
SUNY Police - Ka & K
