SC - Greenville County, Travelers Rest city

Be very careful if you should pass through the city of Travelers Rest. I was out that way this evening and in addition to the unmarked "T" units I posted about, there were also at least three or four marked units working.

I saw marked units monitoring Highway 25 (the section that is in the city limits), Highway 276 (Main St), and State Park Rd.

Where they using radar or laser or both?

I don't know. I don't have a detector at the moment. If I had to guess, I would say radar, just cause of how they were set up. I didn't notice any external radar antennas on the Mustang though.

And, just to note, I have not heard any more "T" units on the GCSO channel since that evening. Maybe it was some type of special traffic enforcement team?

I can't even remember the last time I saw radar mounted on the outside of a cop car. You better get a detector soon my friend!

I know... It's actually not too bad cause where I normally drive I rarely run into any LEOs that have radar units. But, when I go through TR, or travel extensively on I-85, a detector would be nice.
