GSP, however, can write you for 1 over. I know several LEO's and troopers, and most are waiting for the big fish. Almost all tell me you're safe if you are going less than 15 mph over.
Be very cautious of speeding >85 mph on Georgia's interstate. The governor recently signed a "super speeder" law that fines you $250 extra (I think that's correct) in addition to the speed fine. If you're on a two-lane road, going >75 mph will get you a super speeder ticket.
GSP is notorious for using laser from the rear. They sit on the entrance ramps and will laser people as they go by or will use VASCAR to time people's speed (you'll notice the white lines marking the distance they use for VASCAR -- they're present at every interstate entrance). As others have mentioned, GSP also uses a lot of I/O.
One of the things I hate is when a trooper sits on top of a bridge and clocks people as they approach or pass the bridge (some do it from behind, but most get you approaching them). A 1/2 mile down the road will be about 10-20 troopers and locals who will be waiting.
