Now that is bada$$! The cop that gets to ride that bike probably loves his job for sure! Now all they need to do is put a turbo on it. Ghostrider needs to visit Oklahoma.

Not to be rude... but thats not even close, it currently tops at 186MPH (as with every single Japanese motorcycle produced currently).

Its first two generations topped out at 194MPH, 192MPH respectively before limitations, but thats it, no where near 200(stock), not to mention the added weight and ruined aerodynamics because of the police gear stop it probabaly around the 180MPH region.

All the current literbikes are faster then production Hayabusas now, since the Hayabusa technology is about 7 years old, all of the following: ZX-10R, GSX-R1000, YZF-R1, CBR-1000R are faster, and the first three are more powerful bikes then the current Hayabusa's.

Kawasaki also has the new ZX-14R Ninja, which has ~20HP more then the Hayabusa and will blow it (the Busa) out of the water without question.

Anyways that is a cool little snip-it, and I would sure love to roll with that thing all day as my job... wouldnt be much you couldn't catch.

The only thing that still remains is, can he ride, thats what really makes a bike fast or not.

That is a bad-a@@ motorcycle.Looks like the radar antennas need to be leveled. Its def. not as confortable to ride as conventinal police bikes. But to pull someone over in that would be awesome.

    Default Yep

Just road the new 06 ZX10R, yeah, it's fast. Strange enough, in my 5 years of racing production superbike (retired 3 years ago), I haven't been so blown away from a road bike. Not even by a friends 210hp K1 Busa! These new 1 litres are just so sharp, it's getting scary...or am i just getting old?

It's more than likely going to end up being a DARE bike. The bike was confiscated during a drug bust and a 'Busa fan MC cop dressed it up with stickers off a crown vic interceptor. He got persmission to ride it on patrol but I don't know how often or in what capacity. Do, don't worry about a fleet of 'Busas in OK prowling the streets.

I don't know about it being a DARE bike. They have two of them and from a news story and the fact that they have dual radars mounted, it looks like they are for some serous enforcement.
