    Thats AWFULL!

I think it is very cool for different "breeds" of riders to wave to each other.

Sounds similar to that of the boating enthusiasts that do the same.

I believe the wave also signifies an understanding about being part of a group of people that enjoys that certain part of life, a better part.

Just imagine if people wave to each other in their cars, etc, the world would probably be a better place...

    I think you're thinking of killboy.com

Here is a youtube video of a harley driver crashing well attempting to overtake a truck during a series of turns. (Brakes dont help you turn)

I was thinking the above pic was a Killboy pic. Ouch!

Corvette enthusiasts also attempt to keep the wave alive among their group.

Wow. How did I miss this thread in its beginning stages? I always wave. And the first time someone didnt wave back, a hardcore cruiser guy, I said in my head "FU2." I never really understood why but I could assume. The only folks that never waved were a small percentage, maybe less than 2% of the cruiser/Harley bikes. Everyone else waved.

Does anyone else feel reluctant or a sense of shame needing to pass a slower rider on a cruiser? Like... If you're on a long winding route and there are like 2 or 3 cruisers in front of you doing what they do, just cruising. I try to make sure they see me without riding too close but want to make sure they know that I want to go a little faster than them. I know I can get around them in a few seconds but a part of me feels horrible for doing so unless they give me the wave-by.

i know what you mean i feel bad passing another bike even at times on a passing highway i usually just fall into position unless I'm in a hurry.

I get the question all the time why do you ride its so dangerous. I have never had a good answer other then i love it. They just don't understand the connection you get when your on two wheels leaning into turns. They cant understand what its like for me and the machine to be come one and when i think go left it goes left, its like the tires are my feet.

Its like flying a fighter jet, but your on the ground with 2 wheels. you can dive back and forth, accelerate like your afterburner is on and stop very quickly. You just have to experience it to know.
