Yea they get the badge and the rest is history. They use to really be hard when it came to the psychyic review. The THIN BLUE LINE has been there since time. I respect the code for the most part. But I have let off a bunch of pepole ..not just cops. As long as they were older I would take there keys and call them a cab. They had to come see me to get there keys back . I would do and evidence tag and keep the car at the station. They paid the towing. If they were young I would hand cuff them and put them in my car and take them to the station. I would then call MoM or Dad and they would have to come get them. I would have them commit to commuinty service. If they did not I would tell them I would get a warrant for there arresst. None of this was true but they were youg and the parents went along with it. I never saw them driving drunk again, and they would thank me. I miss that. Most cops today have no idea what the badge is really for.

Sounds like they unanimously agree the best way to get out of a DUI is to refuse to provide any evidence against yourself by letting them get your BAC level, because it's easier to fight the license suspension. I wonder if the same odds apply for the peasants...

In NJ refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer will either forfeit your 'innocent until proven guilty' or they'll force a blood sample from you.Originally Posted by supercowpowers
