What the hell difference would it make then , if the guy crashed his self or if the guy got tazered and it made him lay the bike down? Stupid KSP. I guess there's another good reason to wear your "thick" protective clothing

I got some days off with out pay when I threw a night stick and struck the operator of a motorcycle in the head as he was driving up the sidewalk trying to elude me. It was very much worth the days off. It still brings a smile to my face thinking about.

He was a fukkking thug that should have been wearing a helmet.

I get that (BIG SMILE), Glad you had the chance , not many could do such a cowboy/Indian type stunt. I like the idea better than a taser.

Wait... you're asking for someone to explain the difference between one a-hole falling off a bike at low speed, and that same a-hole crashing into a car full of innocent people at 100+ mph? You're joking, right? If not, there are plenty of examples on LiveLeak.com.

You know what, I think it was safer to let the idiot go. It was for speeding for god sake. Speeding that led to a chase in a neighborhoods, which should have initiated the chopper to follow the guy into a safer area. God knows how many things could have went wrong when trying to chase someone down in a residential area all for speed. Anyone who has had a bike should know that speeding fast on a bike is dangerous . However cornering along with acceleration can make a huge difference vs. someone chasing in a heavy car. Hell run the plate, see if it's stolen, if not go to his residence and ticket him , take him to jail. Less danger!

That's exactly what they did, so what's the problem?

Because, the chase should have never happened, just for a traffic violation. You can't tell me the helicopter was right there at the split second and took the chase over before getting dangerous and then getting into residential areas.

And you can't tell me otherwise either. Furthermore, you can't tell me why the guy was running.

They slowed him down and took him down under safer conditions, and without serious injury or secondary damage. You can't ask for a better outcome than that, so your theoretical Monday-morning-quarterbacking has zero foundation, legal or otherwise.

I could ask for better, no residential chase, and a trip to his house. If there were further charges and that's why they pursued him involving a felony then thats different. However police did not announce those details. With that said, bad choice popo's IMHO. Which one would have risked less lives?
